Games & Rules review panel
The WRO Games & Rules review panel is responsible for ensuring that the challenges (games & rules) for each season in WRO are properly designed and age appropriate. Each year the games & rules concept is developed by the Host Country of the international WRO final - and the panel conducts thorough reviewing.
Heading the Games & Rules review panel is Associate Professor Ole Caprani from Aarhus University, Dept. of Computer Science. Ole has for many years been focusing on research and projects relating to robotics and among other things he runs a "LEGO Lab" at Aarhus University at which students are exposed to the concepts of programming, engineering and design. Ole is dedicated to robotics and has for many years been in charge of WRO in Denmark and he is active in the advisory board of FLL in Denmark.
Also member of the games & rules review panel is Mr. Alexander Kolotov from Innopolis University (IU), Kazan, Russia. Alexander is a methodologist of STEM programs at IU. He has worked as Project Manager in a software company before joining WRO in Russia and IU. In WRO, Alexander has experience from judging at the international WRO final in 2013 and later Alexander was head judge at WRO 2014 in Sochi, Russia.
IU is a newly established Russian university focused on education and scientific research in the fields of IT and Robotics. Currently IU has 3 institutes comprising 11 research laboratories and collaborates with the world's leading universitites and research institutions in order to integrate the best Russian traditions and global practices, establish and develop a high-class education and research system and comply with the international academic standards.
